On each goal page, the goal-setter can upload verifiable documents, images and other files to show that their goal is legitimate. In the upper-right corner of the goal page, if you don't see a link called "Verifiables", you may request that the Goalooper upload verifiables. This Verifiables section is generally used for more formal documents, such as business documents, or proving that a marathon runner is actually registered for a race.
Verifiables are documents uploaded by a goal-setter to verify that a goal they have set is legitimate. Documents can be anything the goal-setter feels would assist other users. It is strongly recommended that you do not post or upload unredacted sensitive information.
Although you can restrict the visibility of a goal, there is a level of risk with posting or uploading any information online. Goaloop takes security and privacy very seriously, and has multiple security measures in place to protect personal files and information, but cannot make any representations or warranties as to any verifiables posted or uploaded.
The first step in security must begin with the goal-setter.
